For this assignment we had to research and experiment with different photoshop brushes. I found the plant and ink brushes, and layered them with different colors and opacity settings to create this effect. There's a blank spot under the "burn" in her last name, so I put in one brush stroke in the shape of a comet and set the opacity to 4%. This way, the spot isn't completely blank, and your eyes barely notice the stroke, giving the entire picture a fuller look.
