I got a random burst of inspiration when I got home from school the other day, and knew that I needed to go outside and take some pics. I decided that I would focus it around the theme of train tracks, and I believe it's more than obvious. I took all of these pictures using my Kodak Digital Camera facing away from the sun. I was able to catch lighting perfectly, and enhanced the shadows a little more the emphasize the negative space that is being created by them. I used the Cross Process filter to give it more more of a Magazine look that I was aiming for when I first began shooting. I wanted a more high fashion pose (top running picture), a bold face picture (casual sitting), and a more unique pose(bottom). I believe I achieved it, and really enjoyed this shoot.

Another version of the skin assignment. Instead of using the orton filter, I decided to mess around with the way that the exposure and saturation can change the tone of the skin, hair, eyes etc. I like the way the final turned out. Her hair is vibrant and her skin is practically glowing. I also focused on darkening the shadow/highlight section just below her left jaw bone. I think that by giving it a darker look, it emphasizes the shape of her facial structure and hair volume.

Skin Assignment

For this assignment we had to use different photo manipulation techniques to make our models face look "flawless" so to speak. I used the filter 'Orton' to amplify the highlights inside the picture while adding a "softening" effect at the same time. The two put together gives the models skin a clean and clear look.
