Freelance

So for our freelance photoshoot, I used Kelly out on a bright red beautiful looking couch behind the campus grounds. When I went to edit the photos, I started playing with the saturation on the different pics, and ended up loving this color ^_^. So here it is, my photo enhanced version xD

So I went outside yesterday because I had the inspiration to just get in front of the camera and pose ^_^ The location is right next to my house underneath the train tracks. I love how the look of the picture has an almost clean-dirty feel to it. Just a nice contradiction. I like the numbers, the sky streak, the texture on the rocks. Good shot in general in my opinion =)

So I misunderstood the assignment, but I liked my finished product. So here ya go =]

Season Assignment

So for this assignment we were to dress up a model ( or in this case I decided to use myself) in clothing that helps represent or portray a specific season. I chose spring. Most people think of spring as a very floral time, and I wanted to break away from that. During my spring, I'm always drawn to the beach, or the outdoors. I've got other shots coming, but this is what I have for now. I just really enjoyed this pic, so I decided to share it =]

Background Brush Assignment

For this assignment we had to research and experiment with different photoshop brushes. I found the plant and ink brushes, and layered them with different colors and opacity settings to create this effect. There's a blank spot under the "burn" in her last name, so I put in one brush stroke in the shape of a comet and set the opacity to 4%. This way, the spot isn't completely blank, and your eyes barely notice the stroke, giving the entire picture a fuller look.
